This is me & my childhood friend Norma Jean. We loved to play with our dolls. This was taken 1946-1947. I know, a long time ago. Oh to be young & carefree again.

I used a new kit that Carol is working on. A sneak preview of it, since it isn't even named yet.

In laws wedding

This is my In-laws Wedding Picture, Julia & Al Pugliese. Taken July 27, 1927. My mother-in law made her wedding dress and veil. She was an amazing seamtress.
I used Jenny's "Lasting memories 2" kit for this. What a beautiful kit is is.

Easter barn

At Easter time, we always had an "Easter barn", from little on up. This is where the Easter Bunny left all the eggs & candy for us. Mom always had the barn for us. No matter how old we were. Truth be known, she loved it also. She had one when she was little & just kept the tradition going. How I miss those days.

Christmas 1942

This is a picture of yours truly. It was my first Christmas, I was five months old. On the back of the picture was written "Gerri Ann standing at the foot of the buggy by herself". I realize that a lot of younger ones probably don't know what a buggy is. So that should tell you how old I am. I'm the only one who knows Noah's last name. So I've been told. I used Jenny's new kit called Christmas Wishes. Thank you Miss Jenny.

First Perm

My first Toni home perm.
Done at the Richards Salon in the back yard, because you didn't want to smell up the house.
Most of all it was cheaper back then & you didn't have to tip the hair dresser because it was your Mom and you got it the way she wanted it wheather you like it or not.

First set of wheels

This was my first set of wheels, and I've been driving every since. Of course it was the deluxe model 1946 Tricycle. Only the best, because it had to last me for many years, and then get passed down to my brothers. And as my good buddy Judy might say "Didn't I see you on that the other day".

I am Thankful for

In case your don't recognize this fantastic, wonderful lady
her name is Carol. She is the sweetest, kindest and most thoughtful person I know. I am proud to call her my friend.
She gives so much of herself to all. What a treasure she is.

This was my Aunt Maggie at 2 years of age. She was going to run away from home. If you look close you can see her clutching her teddy bear. Taken in 1921.
